The Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply, through the Secretariat of Aquaculture and Fisheries, opens a notice for those interested in operating in the shade fishing modality or associated shoal for catching tuna in Brazil.

The preparation of the notice was based on international and national legislation, including Interministerial Ordinance No. 59-A, of November 9, 2018, which defines the measures, criteria and standards for fishing associated shoals and others aspects of tuna fishing and the like in the territorial sea, in the Exclusive Economic Zone and in international waters by Brazilian fishing vessels.

We emphasize that the deadline for registration of interested parties is 15 days from today (until October 18th).
