Norwegian entourage visits Brazil's largest fishing hub

The president of SINDIPI, Jorge Neves, received yesterday (23) a delegation of 18 people from the Norwegian Fishermen Sales Organization.

During the visit, which aimed to exchange knowledge about the fishing industry, the Norwegians had the opportunity to meet different types of fishing vessels at the company JS Pescados, located in Itajaí, and a processing industry, Costa Sul Pescados, located in Navigators.

Between the visits, an informal meeting was held at SINDIPI headquarters, on this occasion the president of SITRAPESCA, Henrique Pereira, and the Director of the Department of Fisheries Development and Planning, Jairo Gund, were also present. The Norwegian delegation's visit to the largest fishing hub in Brazil was organized through the Norwegian Fisheries Council –CNP, a public company subordinated to the Norwegian Ministry of Fisheries and Coastal Affairs.
