According to the 1st Integrated Police District (DIP), military police from the Environmental Policing Battalion received a complaint about illegal fish that would be on a vessel in the Port of Manaus, when they sent a team to the location.

The half ton of Pirarucu was presented at the 1st Integrated Police District (DIP) and then donated to Lar da Dona Val and also to Casa da Criança, two institutions that welcome and care for needy people in Manaus.
