Request to change the Fisheries and Aquaculture Directorate of Itajaí SC to the Fisheries Executive Directorate.

The presidents of SINDIPI and SITRAPESCA, Jorge Neves and Henrique Pereira respectively, delivered today (3rd) to the Mayor of Itajaí, Volnei Morastoni, a document requesting the change of the current Directorate of Fisheries and Aquaculture to the Executive Directorate of Fisheries.

In order to have representation and autonomy to assist in the demands of the fishing industry, actively participate in discussion forums and increase resources for the development of partnerships involving innovations, studies and technology for the segment.

The meeting also served to discuss other issues related to the fishing sector in the region. Also present were the delegate SINDIPI, Dario Vitali, the director of Fishing from Itajaí, Rodrigo da Silveira, the manager of the Public Market, Nilson Borba, Jair Bondicz and Thiago Morastoni.
